Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy
At Patriot Bikes Ltd, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. This policy outlines the terms and conditions relating to returns, refunds, cancellations and warranty claims.
Motorcycles, Electric Bikes & Scooters
1. Deposits
All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
A deposit reserves a vehicle for a maximum period of 30 days. If the balance is not paid within this period, Patriot Bikes Ltd reserves the right to cancel the order, retain the deposit and place the vehicle back on sale without notice.
2. Returns
Any motorcycle, electric bike or scooter approved for return after registration will be subject to:
- A £500 de-registration and restocking fee.
- Deduction of all registration, administration and on-road charges.
- A usage charge of £2 per mile ridden.
- Deduction of any transportation, collection or delivery costs incurred.
All delivery, shipping, transportation, collection, administration, registration and on-road charges are non-refundable.
3. Return Process
Any motorcycle returned for inspection, diagnosis, repair, replacement, warranty assessment or refund consideration must be returned to Patriot Bikes Ltd at the customer's expense.
Patriot Bikes Ltd does not provide free recovery, collection, transportation, delivery, roadside assistance, courtesy vehicles, compensation, loss of earnings payments, accommodation costs, loss of use payments or any other consequential losses relating to warranty claims, repairs or product faults.
4. Faults Reported After Delivery
Where a fault is reported after 30 days from delivery, Patriot Bikes Ltd reserves the right to inspect and diagnose the vehicle before agreeing to any repair, replacement or refund.
Patriot Bikes Ltd reserves the right to repair or replace a vehicle before any refund is considered.
Where a refund is agreed after 30 days, Patriot Bikes Ltd reserves the right to make reasonable deductions for:
- Mileage accumulated.
- Wear and tear.
- Damage.
- Missing accessories.
- Missing keys.
- Missing chargers.
- Missing manuals or documentation.
- Reduction in value caused by use of the vehicle.
5. Diagnostic Charges
If a vehicle is returned and no manufacturing defect, warranty fault or fault covered by applicable consumer legislation is found, Patriot Bikes Ltd reserves the right to charge for:
- Diagnostic time.
- Labour.
- Workshop time.
- Storage.
- Transportation.
- Collection and delivery.
- Third-party inspection costs.
All such charges must be paid in full before the vehicle is released back to the customer.
Any vehicle left uncollected for more than 30 days after notification may incur storage charges.
6. Warranty Claims
All warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.
Warranty claims may be refused where faults or damage are caused by:
- Accident damage.
- Crash damage.
- Racing or competition use.
- Commercial use.
- Water ingress caused by misuse or improper storage.
- Lack of maintenance.
- Improper charging procedures.
- Battery misuse.
- Modifications.
- Non-approved parts.
- Unauthorised repairs.
- Neglect or abuse.
Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty. This includes but is not limited to:
- Tyres.
- Tubes.
- Brake pads.
- Brake discs.
- Chains.
- Sprockets.
- Bearings.
- Grips.
- Plastics.
- Seats.
- Bulbs.
- Cables.
- Cosmetic finishes.
- Consumable components.
Clothing, Helmets, Accessories, Parts & Other Products
1. Order Cancellations
Customers may cancel an order before dispatch for a full refund.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
2. Return Eligibility
Customers must notify Patriot Bikes Ltd within 14 days of receiving their order if they wish to return an item.
Returned items must:
- Be unused.
- Be in original packaging.
- Include all tags, manuals and accessories.
- Be in fully resalable condition.
Customers are responsible for all return postage costs.
A £4.99 administration and restocking fee may be deducted from approved refunds.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Opened products.
- Used products.
- Installed parts.
- Fitted performance upgrades.
- Decals and graphics kits.
- Used helmets.
- Special-order products.
- Custom-made products.
- Electrical items showing signs of installation.
- Products missing original packaging.
4. Damaged or Faulty Goods
Any damaged or faulty goods must be reported as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Patriot Bikes Ltd reserves the right to inspect all returned goods before approving a repair, replacement or refund.
Right to Refuse Returns
Patriot Bikes Ltd reserves the right to refuse any return, refund, exchange, warranty claim or goodwill claim where products have been misused, modified, damaged after delivery or where the terms of this policy have not been followed.
