Returns Policy

At Patriot Bikes, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction with every purchase. This Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning motorcycles and other items, including clothing, helmets, accessories, security products, performance upgrades, and more.

Motorbikes (Including On-Road, Off-Road, and Electric Motorbikes)

1. Eligibility for Return:

• All motorcycles are eligible for return; however, once a motorbike is registered to the new owner, any returns will incur a de-registration and restocking fee of £500. The total cost of all road fees will also be deducted from the refund amount. Additionally, a charge of £2 per mile driven upon return will be applied.


2. Return Process:

• Before any return or refund can be processed, the motorbike must be returned to our showroom for an assessment. It is the customer’s responsibility to cover the cost of returning the motorbike to our showroom located at 46 Thornes Lane, Wakefield, West Yorkshire, WF1 5RR. We can arrange collection for a fee of £250, which will be deducted from the final refund amount.


3. Refund Conditions:

• We do not offer exchanges or store credit on motorbikes.
• Customers who change their minds after placing a deposit will not receive a refund of their deposit. This applies to all deposits, from standard to custom deposit amounts, both in-store and online. Customers should place a deposit only if they intend to complete the purchase, as all deposit amounts for all items are strictly non-refundable.

 

4. Non-Returnable Modifications:

• If a motorbike has been modified (e.g., decals, alarms) that cannot be removed without mechanical work, it is not eligible for return.

5. Finance Purchases:

• Motorbikes purchased through our finance partners, Humm, will be subject to additional fees for cancelling the finance agreement. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Humm directly to cancel their finance agreement. Additional fees issued by Humm are separate from the fees charged by Patriot Bikes.

 

6. Damaged or Defective Motorbikes:

• For damaged or defective motorbikes, the return process begins with a diagnosis at our workshop. The customer is responsible for returning the motorbike to our workshop. We can arrange collection for a fee of £250, payable before booking.
• After diagnosis, if a manufacturing issue is found, we will assist the customer in making a warranty claim. If the issue is determined to be user-generated, a repair job sheet will be issued. The customer may collect or arrange for the bike to be repaired at any registered dealer within the UK.

 

7. Warranty Claims:

• For warranty claims, customers should refer to the warranty information provided in their registration pack or contact us for guidance through the warranty claim process.

Everything Else (Clothing, Helmets, Accessories, Security, Performance Upgrades, Bike Care, etc.)


1. Order Cancellation:

• Customers can cancel their order prior to dispatch for a full refund. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 14 days.

 

2. Return Eligibility and Conditions:

• Items that have been dispatched or delivered must be returned in their original condition, without damages to the product or packaging, and with all labels and tags intact. Customers have 7 days from the delivery date to return the item for a refund.
• All refunds are subject to a £4.99 restocking fee, deducted from the total refund amount.

4. Non-Refundable Items:

• Opened or used products, motorbike decals, fitted performance upgrades, and used motorcycle helmets (unless deemed damaged or defective) are not eligible for refunds.


5. Damaged or Defective Items (Non-Motorbikes):

• If an item is received damaged or defective, the customer must contact us immediately. The customer will need to return the item for inspection. If deemed damaged or unfit for use, the customer will receive a full refund. The cost of delivery will not be refunded. Refunds can take up to 14 days from receipt of the damaged or defective goods.


6. Shipping Costs:

• Shipping costs for all items, including motorbikes, are non-refundable as part of any refund claim.

Right to Decline Refunds

We reserve the right to decline any refund request without prior warning or notification if the terms outlined in this policy are not met.
