1. Warranty Terms
1.1. Standard & Extended Warranty
1.1.1. The length of the Standard Talaria warranty is detailed in section 1.19, with the option of a 60-month dealer extended cover explained in section 1.2.
1.1.2. Patriot Bikes Protect 60-Month Dealer Extended Warranty provides five years of labour cover for warranty work performed exclusively by Patriot Bikes Ltd.
1.1.3. To maintain eligibility for the five-year extended warranty, all servicing must be conducted by Patriot Bikes Ltd. If servicing is conducted by any VAT-registered motorcycle business, only the standard Talaria warranty remains valid.
1.2. Warranty Coverage & Exclusions
1.2.1. Warranty covers limited defective parts only. It does not cover accident damage or wear and tear items such as: tyres, inner tubes, seals, bearings, cables, belts, fairings, frames, screws, bolts, bulbs, brake pads, service items, etc.
1.2.2. Warranty coverage is non-transferable unless a safety check is conducted by Patriot Bikes Ltd, which incurs a £100 transfer fee. Any pre-existing faults must be repaired before the transfer is approved.
1.2.3. In the event of a fault, the customer must immediately contact the supplying dealer and cease using the vehicle until further inspection. Patriot Bikes Ltd is not liable for additional damage caused by continued use after a fault is detected.
1.2.4. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to warranty claims, including return shipping after repairs.
1.3. Labour & Service Requirements
1.3.1. Patriot Bikes Ltd is the exclusive provider of labour cover. A £50 diagnostics fee will be charged before any work is undertaken after the first 12 months of warranty.
1.3.2. Labour for warranty repairs is covered up to a maximum of four hours if the issue is eligible under warranty.
1.3.3. Any warranty replacement parts issued are covered under the original warranty period from the date of purchase.
1.3.4. All servicing must be carried out by Patriot Bikes Ltd or a VAT-registered motorcycle business in accordance with the manufacturer’s schedule.
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Responsibilities
2.1. The customer is responsible for performing daily maintenance checks on fairings, lights, brakes, suspension, engine oil, tyres, chain tension, and all operating parts before each journey.
2.2. Vehicles must undergo a running-in period and first service as outlined in the manufacturer’s schedule.
2.3. Vehicles left at Patriot Bikes Ltd for servicing must be collected within 48 hours. Failure to do so will result in a £10 per day storage charge, unless the vehicle is under a warranty repair.
3. Finance Agreements & Customer Responsibilities
3.1. Compliance with Snap Finance Policies
3.1.1. Customers using Snap Finance will not be charged a delivery fee.
3.1.2. Patriot Bikes Ltd does not charge Snap Finance customers for canceling their finance agreement. Any fees imposed by Snap Finance are separate from Patriot Bikes Ltd and must be addressed directly with Snap Finance.
4. Return & Refund Policy
4.1. General Return Policy
4.1.1. Customers have 14 days from the date of delivery to return their vehicle. The vehicle must not be used from the moment a return is requested.
4.1.2. The customer remains responsible for the vehicle's tax, insurance, and any fines or penalties until it has been received back at our premises.
4.2. Restocking & De-Registration Fees
4.2.1. If a vehicle has been registered ownership and delivered/accepted to the customer, a de-registration and restocking fee of £500 will be applied. This fee covers administrative and processing costs.
4.2.2. Any road fees paid on the customer’s behalf (e.g., road tax, DVLA fees) will also be deducted from the refund amount.
4.2.3. An additional £2 per mile driven after purchase may be applied.
4.2.4. This return policy applies to all motorcycles, including electric models.
4.3. Finance Agreement & Returns
4.3.1. Patriot Bikes Ltd’s return policy is separate from any finance agreement. If a customer has financed a purchase through Snap Finance, they must handle any cancellation or repayment obligations directly with Snap Finance.
5. Used Vehicle Warranty
5.1. Used vehicles include a three-month parts and labour warranty as standard, with optional extended warranty upgrades available on request.
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1. If a customer cancels their purchase, a full refund will be processed within 14 days of returning the vehicle, provided:
- The vehicle is returned in good condition with all accessories, documents (V5, service history, charger, etc.), and keys.
- The return does not exceed 14 days from the cancellation request.
- The customer covers the cost of returning the vehicle safely.
6.2. Reimbursement Conditions
6.2.1. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
6.2.2. Any deductions for loss in value (e.g., wear and tear, registration fees) will be outlined before reimbursement is processed.
6.2.3. A part-exchange vehicle may be returned as part of the refund if still available.
7. Policy Voiding Conditions
The warranty will be void if any of the following occur:
- Exceeding the service schedule by more than 10% of the required mileage or timeframe.
- Missing a scheduled service or having it conducted by a non-VAT-registered motorcycle business.
- Accident damage resulting in component failure.
- Vehicle modifications that alter engine performance or electrical systems.
- Use of incorrect fuel or service parts leading to mechanical issues.
- Overloading the vehicle beyond its weight capacity.
- Using the vehicle for hire or reward.
8. Finance Disclosure
8.1. Patriot Bikes Ltd may receive a commission for referring customers to finance providers. Details of any commissions received are available upon request.
